PROJECT SUMMARY

I did a terrarium or diorama you could say, about the Fer-de-lance snake in an old fish tank of mine for my science project about animals in South America.

WHY?

I did this project to try and test myself and at the same time trying to get a 100 in my science project. I also tried to figure out how hard it is to make a diorama abou something, in my case a jungle.

HOW?

I did this using an old fish tank I used to have fish in. Then I implemented dirt and moss, after that some leaves. At that point the terrarium was ready for the clay snake to be placed in. I worked in it for 2 weeks, including paint job. When that was done I placed the snake in and it was done.

WHAT?

I found out how difficult it really was to make something like this, and apart from getting the materials it was easy, except the snake I had several issues with that, I also gained a lot of knowledge for the Fer-de-lance snake.

SO WHAT?

My results was me gaining knowledge in clay art and making a diorama or terrarium for the first time, I found the project really fun because I've always wanted to try this out.

WHAT'S NEXT?

I could probably add some more foliage or maybe some signs about information in the fer-de-lance to give other people knowdlege.

JUDGES FEEDBACK

I think it's really cool that you made a diorama of a habitat for a snake, specifically one that can be found in South America.  I also like how you decided to use an old fish tank instead of letting it go to waste.  It would be interesting to see how well your snake adapted to the new home that you created for it.
