PROJECT SUMMARY
How can we create a socially sustainable business that doesnt affect the environment negatively? The name of our business, “Worth”, represent how every women is worth so much in the world, how everyone of them is important. We are offering the chance for women to step up and lead, having no priorities of hiring men. We are giving them an opportunity to stand out and have a good job that helps our planet become a better place while at the same time providing a good service.
WHY?
We decided to do this project because we wanted to create a good sustainable business. We had the idea that In the building which is the recycling machine, it works by putting the plastic that isnt recycled and then the machine throws in products that cleans the plastic and makes it usable again. We also created a model of the solar panels that we are going to install on top of our building in order to provide our own renewable energy. We produce waterbottle lids with recycled plastic.
HOW?
I have three 3D models where you can se and picture our plan much more better, we will have solar panels to get natural resources that are reusable. We also have the machines that have a procedure where it fully cleans the plastic in order to create a safe and good quality product.
WHAT?
We would like to build in that they recycle the used materials that still have potential and give them a useful and efficient job. Plastic that does not have a reason to be thrown away. Also, use renewable energy since all of the energy sources that we have come from the earth and they are renewable. We will incorporate solar panels in order to produce the energy we will need for our machines that get through the plastic to function.
SO WHAT?
Some possible obstacles that we could face during the establishment of our business would be the money we would have to pay. So, for example, the budgets for social media advertising, rent for office space, hiring staff, and also the budget for the products. We will have to pay off everything to make our vision come through. We calculated that it would cost us much more than 5 million US dollars which is a big amount of money to invest in. I do not think people could have anything against our business, but I think they could say that the recycled used plastic is dirty to use as lids since it's going to have contact with our mouths.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Our business is going to influence other businesses to become even more sustainable in honor of our world, it consists of taking plastic from all over the planet and recycling that plastic by creating water bottle lids with renewable energy that we are also going to obtain from solar panels.Our main purposes is to recycle. In order to do that we are focusing on making plastic water bottle lids that are going to be made of recycled plastic.
