PROJECT SUMMARY
How can we create an eco-friendly and sustainable hotel with an organic farming system in the Mountains of Bayern?
For this project L. and I were trying to work on finding a sustainable way to run a hotel in the mountains and have it provide its own resources with organic farming and eco-friendly systems.
WHY?
I did this project because I thought that around the world people own hotels that are harmful to the environment and on top of that are extremely costly and hard to maintain. Therefore I wanted to develop a hotel idea that was exemplary in eco-friendliness.
HOW?
We used the materials in the maker space to create a model of our sustainable farm with the hotel. We also created a 3D model on thunkable and planned our ideas on a doc.
WHAT?
The idea worked very well, the hotel was sustainable and ecofriendly. We even inspired some of our classmates to take similar action to ours when designing the model of the hotel.
SO WHAT?
Our results are important because we can provide Paraguay with an example of a sustainable hotel which is something we need here as soon as possible to conserve the environment and prevent harm from reaching it.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The next steps to this project would probably be to consider whether something like this could be developed in Paraguay, and if so then how it could be done. The pros and cons should first be listed and then looked into with detail through research which will then provide us with the evidence needed before reasoning about our claim. This step would subsequently be followed by a formal or official design of the project with government officials who will sanction the plan and the building of the plan.
