PROJECT SUMMARY
My project is a simple gear model in blender originally filled with physics and gravity to express the different speeds a gear will move depending on size, varying by a dilation of 2 or .5, although in the end I simply linked the two to make a more realisticly looking device
WHY?
I did this project as a part of the Lego robotics team we needed a digital example of how gears of dilations will move twice or half the speed depending on size
HOW?
I used blender and your handy dandy youtube tutorial on adding phisics to make this happen
WHAT?
I found out about the problems with entity cramming and how things would realy work if we could phase thogh objects
SO WHAT?
I think my experience was important as a learning experience in the fields of phisics and animation even desighn and game making
WHAT'S NEXT?
I think next I might do a double dip into phisics and see what I could do to maybe do more of an interactive experience
REFERENCES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I got My ideas from mr shelden and myself I always wanted do try some of the phisics and gravity in blender
JUDGES FEEDBACK
Very cool use of blender to model gear dilations. That takes a lot of patience. I wonder if there are other physics phenomena you could model on blender - it sounds like you should team up with Mr. Howard to find out!
