PROJECT SUMMARY
In the project I made I tried to recreate the landscape in which the Cobalt blue spider lives in. Then I made a document explaining why these spider species is in grave danger and how you can solve the problem that the spider faces.
WHY?
I did this project because It was part of a science assignment we had to do. I found the assignment interesting so I decided to research and extend the project. In the extension of this assignment I tried to make solutions for habitat loss.
HOW?
I created my project thanks a supply store I found. Once I had the materials I glued them and tried to make an environment that was realistic and accurate. I developed a solution by researching on websites like for example https://rainforestfoundation.org/engage/10-things-you-can-do/.
WHAT?
I found out that solving problems like habitat loss require 2 things: teamwork and dedication . You might want to save the rainforest and other habitats but you are just one person and although you make a great difference it isn’t enough to stop those type of problems. We also need dedication so that we carefully follow the steps in our everyday life instead of doing them once a week.
SO WHAT?
First of all, I learned all about the lack of organizations that help the environment. Most industries gain money in a not so eco-friendly way. Together we can all create more groups that actually care for problem like these.
WHAT'S NEXT?
I could extend my project by making other models for other animals that show solutions to other problems like for example global warming or poaching. I could definitely extend the steps for my different solutions and even improve them.

Well, my main source was https://rainforestfoundation.org/engage/10-things-you-can-do/. There I had multiple steps to solve different problems like deforestation. I acknowledge my dad for buying the materials I used on my model (very expensive) and for helping me construct it.

This project is a great example of why we need to respect and protect our environment. Excellent job on extending your learning by creating a model of the rainforest and reflecting on the importance of what we can to reverse habitat lose. I agree with your next step of adding more organisms to your model to show how important diversty is in our ecosystem is. I would also recommend that you add call to action and give specific steps that humans can follow to stop the destruction of wild habitations.
