PROJECT SUMMARY
One day I had a shower thought. What if presidents had access to Tinder, more specifically What if older US presidents had access to Tinder? That's why when we were asked in our AP CSP class to work on a project, I decided to team up with L. in order to construct the best possible app possible.
WHY?
Honestly, I have zero clue why I even chose to do this. I guess we had to submit a project that utilized lists, and for some reason, I thought that this would've been the smartest choice for this.
HOW?
In order to create our project, we used a website called code.org. The website utilizes the javascript language. We also got both the list of presidents as well as the images from the website's datasets.
WHAT?
In my humble opinion, I'd say that our prototype was successful both monetarily and in functionality. Still, we found out that there were still a couple of bugs with a couple of the photos of some of the presidents not working as intended.
SO WHAT?
this project aided me in the understanding of both loops, lists, and conditionals. These results are important because they helped me improve my understanding on basic computer science terms.
WHAT'S NEXT?
I'd like to maybe extend my project one day with some paid DLC. Maybe one day I can add a "Dictator Expansion Pack". That way for the small price of $8.99
REFERENCES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I got the list of presidents out of code.org. Someone that supported me was my AP CSP teacher, Mrs. Lederman, who stated that my app: "Your app fulfills my presidential matchmaking dreams! See project planning guide for grade comments."
JUDGES FEEDBACK
This is a very unique concept, I'm curious about what the results would actually be if they did have access to something like Tinder. It would be nice to see what you made but unfortunately there is not link available to see your project right now.
