PROJECT SUMMARY

My problem initially was to find a proper way to create blender creatures in 3D. Anything would be ok wether it was a huge turtle or a cool map. I just wanted to be able to draw

WHY?

I did this project because I wanted to explore the world of blender and understand its ins and outs through tutorials and guides about the application itself. It allowed me to make quite literally, anything through pure sculpting and Modelling which is the main reason why I chose to make it.

HOW?

I made the project by guides and tutorials, like mentioned earlier and using blender’s tools to make the sculptures themselves like sharks and buildings. It took me quite a long time to make them but I still managed at the end.

WHAT?

My results were spectacular, I could see these and even 3D print them if I wanted to. I had multiple different creations because one simple sculpture would have been to easy and at the end of the day, it had to be some kind of challenge.

SO WHAT?

My results got really good with a bit of editing and managing, most of them do have color but getting it to fully blender would have taken a total of around a week which I am not willing to do. My computer is very slow and old so that risk is one that I’m not willing to take unfortunately.

WHAT'S NEXT?

My projects could have been extended if I actually blendered and made them look gorgeous with shades and color but like I said, I cannot and the only way to expand it would be by making more 3D creations with more complexity.

REFERENCES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

My inspiration came from YouTube videos of people making these blender creations. From sweet looking dinosaurs to very exotic islands. I though it was really cool so I though if they can do it, why can’t I? I used guides and tutorials to make these structures and they turned out great. Hope you enjoy them.

JUDGES FEEDBACK

You have multiple fantastic models in the project!  I like how you were very self-determined and passionate about this which led to you actually doing it.  One of your next steps is to maybe add some shadows or color to these models, which is something that I think many would also like to see added to this project.
