PROJECT SUMMARY
I created my app to facilitate the process of adopting cats for new care-takers. Using code.org's data I coded an app that matches the user's preferences to certain cat breeds based on their color and temperament. In each try, the cats that matches those preferences appear randomly so that users can get a variety of results that share the same qualities each time.
WHY?
I was trying to help out with the adoption process and to also encourage people to adopt more cats! There are many rescued cats that need a home, so I believe that this app could interest people into actually adopting cats or maybe even just think about getting one.
HOW?
I developed my project using javascript coding in code.org. I used a variety of functions such as sequencing, iteration, selection, and parameters to make sure the user's preferences matched within the data list and to then extract it from that same list.
WHAT?
Since my app adjusts to the user's preference, the results give out different cats that falls under those categories.
SO WHAT?
My results are important because it helps out people on deciding what cats they would want to adopt. Throughout the making of this app, I realized that apps don't need to be complicated in order to help out people.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Next time I could add more preferences so that the users can get more accurate cats that match what they are looking for.

JUDGES FEEDBACK
What a great idea for an app to be able to help animals adoption. It is also helpful in facilitationg the preferences of the person who wants to adopt. It will be great if you can extend this to dogs and other animals too. If you can actually facilitate this app in an app store and have it use it by organizations, then you will be able to take this project to another level.
