PROJECT SUMMARY
How could we make a beautiful but easy and simple version of stained glass? We chose a video off of the internet and decided to do it ourselves. We used new materials and we tried to enjoy ourselves as much as we wanted to!
WHY?
We asked ourselves if it was possible to make a beautiful yet normally complicated piece of art. So we tried do this without any special tools and just some basic school supplies and our bare hands.
HOW?
First we had to spray a pane of glass with an acrylic sealer to add some texture so the "paint" would stick. After that we had to shake together some black acrylic paint and white glue to make the outline, so we could then mix up some paint to be the actual colors for the design. And then we painted all of this on to the sprayed glass and made easy yet beautiful stained glass art.
WHAT?
When we finished, we saw that it was actually easy to make stained glass, just that it took time. Our final product was very beautiful and we think that anyone could make it very easily if they had the time.
SO WHAT?
So what we can pull from this, with our question in mind, is that it IS possible to make easy and stunning art. We are not very old yet so we can also conclude that you can do this at a young age, probably starting around 5 to 6 years old.
WHAT'S NEXT?
After doing the fake stained glass, we think that the next part of this project could be to start a new and more advanced project whether that be the real stained glass or just any other project.

We watched a youtube video on how to do fake stained glass and our art teacher, Ms. Grace helped us to figure out strategies and to find materials.

I think that this is a fantastic peice of artwork and I really like your why: to create a simple yet stunning piece of artwork. I like how you decided that this can be a stepping stone for much more complicated artwork in the future. I wonder what this current piece of artwork would like with additional added details such as additional plants in the grass or clouds in the sky.
